Marblehead, MA “ The Marblehead Arts Association invites the community for an evening of art, music, food, and friends on Saturday, November 4, 7-10 p.m., as the King Hooper Mansion comes alive for Brushstrokes & Bruschetta, one of the association's most important fundraisers of the year.
The King Hooper Mansion, will be filled with the electrifying beat of Senegalese drumming by Mamadou Diop and later in the evening, the eclectic musical blending of the Karen Ristuben Trio. Delicious hors d'oeuvres will be served along with wine, and beer from Marblehead's finest purveyors; a silent auction of unique goods and services as well as the smell of fresh paint. Artists in every room will be creating paintings (on which to bid), talking about their work, and answering questions, while guests meet and mingle.

The Marblehead Arts Association is located in the historic King Hooper Mansion at 8 Hooper Street, Marblehead, Mass. Five galleries of exhibits by association members and guest artists change monthly, and education programs and special events are offered throughout the year.
