On Behalf of All the Parents, Families, and Students, Thank You for your Wonderful Performance at the Fundraiser for the Cape Ann Waldorf 8th Grade Class of 2002 at the Hawthorne Hotel Friday night. We really appreciate your energy and the effort that You and the Band Members put into making the evening a Huge Success for the class toward raising funds for their trip this spring. All those who attended had a Fabulous Night and really warmed up by Moving and shaking to the rhythms of your Music.



Also thank You to the Hawthone Hotel for providing the Ballroom and to the Staff Captain Danny, Cheryl, Chris, Brian, and Jaqui for contributing to succes of our event.

Happy New Year 2002 from MAMADOU!!!!



Welcome to the New Year. We have a big year ahead of us, and we all thank you for your support. Last year took us to Portland, Maine opening for Third World!! We performed twice at the Bethlehem Musikfest in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania (the largest music festival in the USA)!!



Many people ask how they can help the band. We could always use help in many areas. Promotion is always difficult to keep up, so if you would like to help, here are some ideas:



1. Go to our shows with as many people as you can bring. I guarantee that you will have a great time. Just bring your dancing shoes! Check our calendar on the web site to find out more, or sign up for our mailing list by visiting mamadou.com.



2. Visit our web site and download our music and listen to it regularly (not just once). That helps our ranking on the charts and also generates a (small) revenue for the band, while it costs you nothing.



3. Request our music from local radio stations. If they do not have our music at the station you are requesting from, let me know. Email me at info@mamadou.com.



4. Wear our bumper stickers on your car, boat, mailbox, etc. We have them available for FREE at our performances. Just ask.



5. Spread the word about our music. Tell your friends, tell clubs where you'd like to see us, tell anyone you think that may want to hire us. We perform at weddings, festivals, night clubs, etc.



6. Post fliers at your local area. Ask us how you can help with this by writing to info@mamadou.com.
