MAMADOU - HOH, Bangkok Paradise, Emergenza Round 2 
Who would have thought that since the last newsletter, we'd have a lot to say? We'll keep it short, though... First, we are proud to announce that our band leader, Mamadou Diop, has been selected to receive the "Humanitarian of the Year" honorable award from the Boston Chapter of the International Art of Living Foundation! Keep your eyes in the newspapers. If you would like to go the March 7 event, there is some information on our web site. How many bands can say this?! Congratulations to Mamadou for being a "Hero Of Humanity (HOH)"!! In only 2 weeks, we will be back at the Bangkok Paradise on Friday, March 16th for a night of song and dance, food and fun. Save your appetite for some of the best Thai food in the area (ranked #1 Thai on the North Shore)! Last, but not least, we have the date and time of our Round 2 Emergenza competition - Show your support for MAMADOU by casting a vote on the night of Saturday, April 7th. We are on the stage of the Middle East Downstairs from 10:30 to 10:55 PM, with voting immediately afterwards. Remember that tickets are good for the entire night (from 8 PM to 1 AM), with 10 bands competing that night! Together, we will get to Round 3. Contact us to get tickets, and save $5 on each by getting them from us. More info on our calendar including the list of who is performing that night. We'll see you there!
