MAMADOU - Emergenza Semi-Finals (Round 3) 
Well, this is it - On Friday, May 25th, we will be taking the stage to battle it out with other Boston-area TOP BANDS (the current line-up is on our calendar) in the Semi-Final Round (Round 3) of Emergenza. Our battle begins at 9:00 PM, ending promptly at 9:25 PM with voting immediately thereafter. All we ask is for our friends and fans to show some support when we really need it by coming to the show and voting for us after our performance. We'll do the hard part - make a performance that is truly worth voting for (to hear some music from our last Emergenza show, click on the orange Song of the Week button at the top of this newsletter - the recording quality and mix is not super, but it gives you an idea of how we sound live). We've been practicing hard, and we are ready to bring you a show that you will not see anything like again (wild drumming with special guest Master Drummer Joh Camara, incredible lead guitarwork from Pavel Jirka, Mamadou Diop's signature rhythm guitar, and more). We want you to be a part of this momentious performance, and with your votes, we will move on to the Finals. Why is getting to the Finals at Emergenza a big deal? It gives our band an opportunity to perform in front of music industry professionals - that can make our live performances reach around the country and the world (even if we don't win the whole contest). After the Finals, there are the USA Finals in New York, and then the World Finals in Germany (a total of 6 rounds).  Please take a moment to spread the word about this show, and to post some flyers in your neighborhood. Normally, the tickets at the door WILL SELL OUT, at $20 each. You can get tickets from us for only $10 each at New England Magic, at Debra Crosby's A Quest Actor's Studio, and at the Baobab Space (opening soon). Do it now, because time is of the essence!
