MAMADOU - Happy Holidays and Happy New Year!!

MAMADOU Show

We in the MAMADOU band would like to wish all of you a happy and healthy holiday season and a warm welcome into the year of 2008!  May you have plenty of friends, food, and family to warm your hearts.  You always have us as your biggest fans :)

Just passing the word from A3D, the Hope For The Holidays party was great and they want to thank you for your support.  They are well on their way towards achieving the goals of their current focus - getting medical equipment to those in need in West Africa.

If you are around the Boston area on the last day of the year, why not stop by and see us as part of the Boston First Night events.  We are performing from 3:00 to 4:30 PM at the Mary Baker Eddy Library (in the big stone Christian Science church building across from Symphony Hall, next to Berklee School of Music).  Happy New Year !!

Then, to kick off the new year, we will be bringing our show to the Pickled Onion in Beverly, MA.  Come check it out!

We'll see you soon!

If you like the music we make for you, then take the MAMADOU challenge:  Choose one (1) friend who you think would like MAMADOU.  Encourage them to go to our web site (mamadou.com) and join our mailing list.  Its that easy, and its free.  Do this once each week.

MAMADOU Trivia - In the winter (north of the equator), the Earth is closer to the sun than in the summer.  Winter's cold weather occurs because of a lack of [daytime] sunlight due to Earth's tilted axis about which it rotates to give us day and night.
